Gustavo is interested in automating machine learning and decision making under uncertainty. His research work includes topics such as automated model selection, active model selection, active search, large-scale clustering, and multi-agents set function optimization.
Gustavo holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Washington University in St Louis, and received an MSc and BS in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceará in Brazil.
