Christos is a machine learning researcher at Qualcomm AI Research in Amsterdam, working on federated learning. Prior to that, he received a PhD in machine learning from the university of Amsterdam under the supervision of Max Welling, working on topics revolving around Bayesian inference, uncertainty estimation and compression for deep learning. His current research interests lie at the intersection of federated learning with statistics, optimization, efficiency, robustness and privacy.
